Beswib is a next-gen C2C platform designed for the legal and secure resale of race bibs 🙂. It tackles illegal transfers and financial loss by offering a streamlined and trustworthy alternative.

What It Brings

For runners: A safe space to resell their bib when plans change, or grab a slot in a race that’s already full 🚀.

For organizers: An automated system that updates participant lists, verifies identities, and handles financial flows. Less fraud, less friction.

Payment Integration

We rely on PayPal to guarantee smooth and secure payments. The Sandbox integration is fully functional, but moving to production requires access to the PayPal Partner Program to enable marketplace features (especially C2C payments). We’re currently looking for a direct contact to finalize this step 🤝.

Beswib acts as a win-win catalyst for the sports community by combining transparency, efficiency, and safety. Built with modern web tooling, it ensures traceable transfers, clean transactions, and automatic participant-list updates — drastically cutting down on fraud and admin overhead.

• Backend & Database: PocketBase powering storage (events, bibs, users, transactions) and API layers in a single self-hosted binary.
• Authentication: Clerk for secure, customizable, multilingual auth.
• Payments: PayPal integration validated in Sandbox, targeting Partner Program capabilities for compliant C2C flows.
• i18n: Support for 9 languages with component-level modular translations.
• Testing & Quality: Vitest + React Testing Library, plus ESLint and Prettier for consistent code quality.
• Data Validation: Valibot schemas to ensure robust input and API handling.
• Development Workflow: Turbopack for ultra-fast iteration ⚡.
